Kalkaska man says he may be boy who disappeared in 1955
KALKASKA — John Robert Barnes always felt different. He didn’t look like anyone in his family.
His older brother and younger sister were short and had dark hair. Barnes is 6 feet tall with light skin and green eyes.
“I don’t look like them,” Barnes said this afternoon. “They are small. They have brown eyes, real dark hair.”
Now, Barnes thinks he knows the reason. He said he is almost 100% sure that he was kidnapped as a child.

‘I’m the son snatched from you 54 years ago’: Man claims he was toddler in case that baffled U.S.
It was a case that baffled America – whatever happened to the two-year-old boy left outside a baker’s shop one October day back in 1955?
When Steven Damman’s mother Marilyn returned from shopping ten minutes later, she was horrified to find that the toddler had vanished.
His seven-month-old sister Pamela was found safely in her buggy round the corner from the shop in Long Island, New York.

hello. ten minutes outside alone and the other one around the corner??? Even in 1955 that was not o.k. I know ,I was there in that year and believe me we watched out for our families. Still, quite a shock for the family to lose him .Hope it works out .
